I haven’t blogged in a very long time. I guess now is as good as time as any though and maybe it will increase some SEO for me in the sports area. I’m not a fan of blogging. I feel like it’s a chore and I don’t really enjoy it, but maybe I don’t need to say as much.
Many people know that my husband and I have been separated (geographically) thanks or not thanks to the Air Force. He lives in Connecticut and we fly back and forth to see each other as much as we can afford. It’s expensive and it’s just a crappy situation.
Last year, Craig and I both found ourselves trying to figure out how to live and handle this situation. We’ve been doing this for a bit over a year now and I think that we have made some leeway on how to cope apart. Stay busy…. not doing work. He spends a lot of time at hockey games, flying a drone around and visiting quirky, little resturants in the Northeast. I spent a lot of time crafting last year. This year, however, with Natalie starting high school as a freshman, she wants to go to all the games to support her new friends and immerse herself into the high school lifestyle… Studys, sports, friends and……….. boys. Lord help me. Anyway, I indulged in the North Paulding All Sports Pass for Nat and myself this year and it’s really helped me develop or increase my enjoyment for photographing sports – or just going has maybe just helped me realize that I enjoy it. I don’t expect people to buy these. I don’t even know if they are great to be honest. I know it’s a lot work for me, I know that I enjoy it, I know that my neighbors (who have the quarterback of the Freshmen team, Tyler… and he’s pretty fun to watch) appreciate, but really I just love spending time with my friend, Michelle, Tyler’s mom, and gives me an excuse to leave the house, get out in some fresh air with the cameras – even though I am often ditched for the student section. So, if you happen to see me, come on over and say hello 🙂
Anyway, here’s a few of my favorite images and if anyone feels like seeing them all and donating a little that would be great, student loans and paying a second rent/mortgage kinda sucks and I appreciate all the support I can get until I make it to the big time and am able to be accepted into MaxPreps or the NFL or something. 🙂
