Own It Sports Media Day -or- Boutique Sports Sessions

Over time, the term “Media Day” has been blurred by stylized smoke-and-gel setups that look exciting but serve little purpose for actual team media.
Those are essentially glorified mini-sessions — fun and creative, but not functional for team graphics, composites, or official use.
A true Media Day is about consistency, clean extractions, and a full library of usable imagery for your program.

MEDIA DAY — Team-Focused Imagery
Media Day sessions are built for programs that need clean, consistent, extraction-based imagery for team use — including graphics, rosters, websites, and official content.
Athletes are photographed for seamless background placement and team composites, giving the program professional, uniform visuals across all athletes and coaches.
Everything about Media Day is structured for the team’s identity and media workflow, not for dramatic or stylized looks.

BOUTIQUE SPORTS SESSIONS — Personal Creative Portraits
Boutique Sports Sessions use smoke, gels, and natural environments to create artistic, in-camera portraits.
These sessions are designed strictly for personal keepsakes — not for team graphics, rosters, or any formatted media content.
No extractions, templates, or team composites are created from these sessions.

🚫 Teams must choose one session type only — Media Day or Boutique Sports Sessions.
They cannot be combined or mixed under the same booking.

The team collects the per-player rate before Media Day or we can do it thru registration if parents are paying.
Full and final payment must be complete in full prior to the scheduled session.
The Player Pot is not available for Boutique Sports Sessions, but it is available for Media Day

If you’re submitting a business check (personal checks are not accepted), please allow time for the check to clear before Media Day.

Media Day Includes

One T&I Template of your choice — athlete extractions are used to create both individual composites and the team composite.
Small Team Extractions optimized for social media (typically formatted for Canva).
Coach Packages — includes professional headshots of all coaches plus their child’s images at no charge.
All Athlete Extractions placed on your chosen Collegiate Seamless Background (white, black, gray, or team color).
Front-Facing Smiling Headshot of every player and coach on the selected seamless background.
Three images of each athlete will be uploaded to a group gallery for parents to download.

Boutique Sports Sessions Include

Smoke & Gelled Lights with the natural background such as the gym. The team/group image will be taken all together.
Coach Packages — includes professional headshots of all coaches plus their child’s images at no charge.
Three images of each athlete will be uploaded to a group gallery for parents to download.

Session & Team Booking Overview

Most Boutique Sports Sessions are done at your facility because the natural background of a gym or field is typically desired. If choosing Media Day we highly recommend individual sessions, solo or with teammates, at the OIS Studio in Acworth (136 Fitzroy Lane). Boutique Sessions are always welcomed in the studio if a natural background isn’t necessary.
Being in the studio is the most flexible way for coaches, athletes, and parents to coordinate, avoid missed practices, and create a more relaxed and creative experience, just no gym.
All sessions require online registration, even for on-location shoots.

Scheduling & Availability
Weekday evenings and weekends available at OIS
Monday–Thursday: 6 PM – 8 PM
Friday: 1:30 PM – 6 PM
Select Saturdays & Sundays: 1 PM – 5 PM

Team Sessions – On Location (Indoors / Outdoors)
On-location sessions are available for schools and teams that prefer to shoot at their own facility.
No make-ups are offered for on-location sessions.

Arrival Times
Indoors: Fridays by 3 PM | Select Sat/Sun by 9 AM
Outdoors: Fri/Sat/Sun arrive by 4:30 PM | shoot by 6 PM

School Requirements for On-Location Services
ALL Paulding County & Non-Paulding County Schools within 15 miles of OIS:
ALL SENIORS are required to shoot their banner images in studio (excludes South Paulding).
Full online registration is required for high school and middle school teams.
Single-day services only — I do not come back multiple times to shoot the different teams of one sport over multiple days.

Schools Beyond 15 Miles from OIS
A $100/hour travel fee will be applied to the final invoice.
If out of state or an overnight stay is required, actual rates of flight/travel and accommodations will apply.
Full online registration is required for high school and middle school teams.
Sessions available Friday afternoons and very select weekends.

Creative Design Fee (CDF) applies to Media Day Teams and covers template licensing, design prep, and graphic creation. Banner minimum requirements are waived for Media Day. Travel fees still apply as listed.
